CODE OF CONDUCT


The Govt. Degree College Pulwama being a co-educational institution defines some protocol which needs to be adhered to in letter & sprit. The following are some of the rules which have been laid down for discipline in the campus.

Uniform for Male and Female Students
The Students shall be bound to attend the college in proper uniform. 

Male Students: - White shirt, black formal trousers, black shoes, white socks during summer & black sweater during winter.

Female Students: - Grey frock, white shalwar, white dupatta, white socks, black shoes during summer & black sweater during winter. 


Theory/Practical  Class Timing
The College starts teaching work from 10:00 am sharp. As such all the students are required to be in time. Though the college functions up to 4:00 pm, the time table of the students hailing from far-flung areas is framed in such a way that they are free at 3:30pm.


Use of Mobile Phones

Use of mobile phones by the students in the campus is completely prohibited. Any student found in possession of the same shall be liable for disciplinary action under rules ranging from fine to the forefeiture of admission.

Identity Cards

The students will be allowed to enter the campus only after presentation of the college I-cards to the gate keeper .Loss of the I-card shall be immediately reported in writing to the Principal.

Ragging & Smoking

Both ragging & smoking are completely prohibited in the college premises. Any student found guilty of either of these two antisocial activities shall be punished as per college rules & as per directives of Honourable Supreme Court & the Govt.
